Better Health’s approach is to invest in general practices but to share ownership with GPs equally. Practices in the Group are at least 50% owned by doctors working in that practice and the majority of Better Health shareholders are active General Practitioners.
We have a policy of 50% ownership in a practice. When the GP or GPs in a practice also have 50% ownership, that ensures that the practice will be managed in the best interest of the patients and GPs.
